Fire can have devastating life changing results to either life, and a damaging effect on property.  Therefore it is important that buildings contain adequate measures to warn that a fire has occured, both to enable the premises to be evacuated, and to ensure that the fire is extinguished in the quickest time possible to minimise damage to property.  SJ Treloar & Associates utilise our own in house fire consultants to advise clients how the risk of fire can be reduced.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, a fire risk assessment is required for a variety of commercial situations such as:
